Labour Doula
Childbirth is the most rewarding life style change in a woman’s life and will certainly be a “memorable event". My goal is to help pregnant women achieve the birth they truly desire through continuous emotional, educational, and physical support, during her pregnancy and labour. There is no birth or pregnancy the same whether it is her first, or she has delivered previously. Each woman is unique in how she plans for and handles the birth of her child. I provide information that supports healthy pregnancies but I also respect the woman’s right to birth her way without judgment.

Postpartum Doula
The birth of a child is a most exciting and rewarding time for new parents, but it can also be very challenging at the same time. Now you are a family and responsible for this little angel who has just entered into your lives. The transition of a couple’s life to family life puts a strain on both parents. They now have to learn how to cope with the challenges that they will face.
As a postpartum doula, I attend to the new mother, her infant and partner according to their needs and circumstances. To reassure them that what they are feeling is normal and that everything will be alright in time. My goal is to empower my clients to make them feel confident, and lead them to the resources so that they make informed choices as they begin their journey into parenthood.
Childbirth Education
Gentle Care Doulas Services offers a unique Childbirth Education program, which helps expectant couples prepare for the labour and birth of their newborn.
Using quality-teaching aids, research based material, interesting discussions, videos and hands on learning.
This practical approach will build confidence and prepare new parents for labour, birth and beyond!
